Cancellation & Refund Policy

Every journey we design is different, and so are the terms behind it. Airlines have their own fare rules. Hotels and destination partners each set their own cancellation terms, which vary by season, property and booking. We have to honour those terms, and so do you.

So there is no single cancellation table that could be true for every trip. Instead:

• The cancellation terms for your specific journey are set out in your itinerary and booking confirmation before you pay. Those terms apply to your booking.
• This page explains how cancellations and refunds work with us in every case.

Please tell us in writing — by email to ops@bonhomiee.com or by WhatsApp to +91 98302 68500. A cancellation takes effect from the time we receive it. We will confirm it in writing and tell you the charges that apply.

• Supplier charges — whatever the airline, hotel, destination partner or other supplier charges under its terms at the time of cancellation. We pass these on at cost.
• Non-refundable items — including non-refundable fares, visa fees, insurance premiums once issued, and permits.
• Our service fee, as set out in section 4.
• Bank, gateway and currency conversion charges incurred on payments and refunds.

Designing a journey is real work, done before anything is booked. Our design and service fee is non-refundable once your itinerary has been shared with you. The booking amount paid before we contact suppliers is adjusted against your journey; if you cancel after we have started arranging it, it is applied first to supplier charges and our fee, and any balance is refunded.

A change to dates, names or services may be treated by suppliers as a cancellation and a new booking. Any supplier charges and fare differences are passed on, and we will tell you the cost before making the change.

• Refunds are made once we receive the money back from the supplier concerned. We process our part within 7 working days of receiving it.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method or the account the payment came from.
• Where a supplier issues a credit or voucher rather than cash, we pass that on to you on the same terms.
• TCS collected on overseas packages is deposited with the government and cannot be returned by us; it can be claimed as a credit in your income tax return.

Services not used — a missed flight, a late check-in, a skipped excursion — are not refundable unless the supplier agrees.

• If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, we will offer the best available alternative, or a refund of the amount recovered from that supplier.
• For group departures, if the minimum group size is not reached, we will offer an alternative date or journey, or a full refund of the amount paid for the departure.

For natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions and similar events, refunds depend on what suppliers return. We will work to recover as much as possible on your behalf and pass on everything we recover, less only unavoidable charges.

If a visa is refused, cancellation charges apply as normal under the supplier terms, and visa fees are not refundable. Applying early and taking insurance that covers visa refusal gives you the best protection.
